The following day I called the company before lunch and explained I was desperately trying to see this property and rent it before anyone else got it. The lady was very kind and after taking my name, number and the address of the property said that the realtor will get in contact with me as soon as possible. Later that day around 3pm I did receive a call from the realtor telling me that someone else had seen the day before and their application had been approved.
To say I was disappointed is an understatement.
I had been searching for a home to rent in the Memphis area that is affordable, safe and close enough to my new job for about three months. I found the perfect property in a safe neighborhood at a great price.
The next day I called the company three times where they took my name, number and the address of the property. The realtor responsible did call back on my office line (I provided both an office number and cell number) while I was on a call with a customer and she had left a voicemail to call the company, not her. I called the number back that I received the call from; it goes straight to the realtor’s voicemail. I left a message. I then called the company a fourth time where they took my name, number, and the address of the property. I did not hear anything back.
I submitted a request to view a newly listed property through an associated property management company website. I also followed up with a call where someone took my name, number and the address of the property. I was informed that I would receive a call that day to schedule a showing. I found the realtor responsibility for the property and e-mailed her directly. She informed me to contact the company. I did not bother with it because I had just talked to someone at the company. I did not receive a call back.
